Sometimes our yogis will bring something a bit warmer to wear during the cool-down period, such as a long-sleeved shirt.

What to Expect as a New Yogi

The first few classes may feel a bit awkward, but don’t let that get you down. Palm Harbor yoga lessons are tailored to create confident, experienced yogis over time. When starting out, some positions may be uncomfortable or even painful, it is important to Remember the positions are a requirement. If you are in pain or uncomfortable for any reason feel free to take a break. The goal of yoga lessons is to become comfortable within yourself. It’s OK to ease yourself into the poses over the course of multiple lessons.

Participate

When participating in yoga lessons, all we expect from our yogis are to be open-minded and respectful of others in the room. Respectful, as in turn off your phone and remove all judgment of others while participating in class.

What to Bring

If you are taking yoga lessons remember to bring a positive attitude and comfortable clothing. You may also bring a water bottle and your own mat if you wish.
