Dr. Marie Perkins, OTR/L, LMT, DOM, Dipl. Ac.

Dr. Marie Perkins is one of the most recognized practitioners in Palm Harbor as a “non-pharmaceutical” pain specialist. She is the founder of East West Healing Solutions and is dedicated to helping patients enjoy optimum health.

Born and raised in Quebec City Canada, Dr. Perkins received her Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from University Laval in 1993. Her passion led her to leave everything behind and immigrated to Florida in 1995. Dr. Perkins proceeded with acquiring her Massage Therapy license from Bahkti Academy in 1999 and her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004.

Her goal for founding East West Healing Solutions was to be a pioneer in the community working at bridging the gap between Eastern and Western Medicine. She has established strong partnership with Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Pain Management Physicians, Doctors of Chiropractic, Rehabilitative Specialists, Athletic Directors, Coaches and Personal Injury Attorneys in the community proving not only that it can be done but also that a cohesive team approach is often the most efficient way to help a patient..

“Over the years I have continued to add to my knowledge in order to be able to help as many patients I possibly could. Most of the time, a joint effort from Western and Eastern Medicine is required to obtain optimal health. For that reason, patients should proactively seek a team of highly trained professionals in various fields, all working toward one common goal; the PATIENT’S best interest. Your health portfolio should be built with the same concepts as your financial portfolio; diversification is the key!”

 Mark Perkins, Co-Founder

His background covers the startup of a new training based company as well as the turn around and sale of another. With his corporate career now completed he is excited to be engaged daily in an endeavor that makes such a profound and positive difference in people’s lives.

Dr. Lorri Beauchamp DOM

Dr. Lorri Beauchamp DOM, LAc. FABORM is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. She specializes in women’s health/fertility, pain management, migraines, aesthetics, and several chronic disorders of the mind and body.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College in Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Through years of intense study and practical clinical experience at the college’s free healthcare center, she discovered she had a platform for educating and speaking to people about their bodies in a manner that was easily understandable. By providing patients with basic knowledge of their own physiology they became empowered to become a part of their own healing process. She found a strong connection with women who felt disenfranchised from their own health issues. Soon Dr. Beauchamp discovered nutritional, acupuncture, and herbal therapies all intersected to create remarkable results.

Dr. Beauchamp has had the privilege of working with hospitals, private clinics, and several large successful women’s health and fertility centers in both Chicago and SE Florida. In 2012, she completed a fellowship with the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. This further enhanced her vision of integrative health. In private practice she expanded her skills in orthopedics, chronic illness, weight management, functional and mental health. She quickly realized that these aspects of the human body are interrelated.

Dr. Lorri’s primary goal is to listen to each patient’s unique circumstances, educate and treat them so they may gain control over their mind and body.

No matter what your health concerns are, there are several safe and effective natural integrative therapies available for many conditions. Together Dr. Lorri Beauchamp will explore those options with you and find the most suitable treatment for you and your loved ones.

Nwando Nwanna, Nutritional Therapist & Pharm D

Nwando is a Florida Registered Pharmacist. She graduated from University of Florida in 1998 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D). She practiced as a Clinical Pharmacist in hospital settings for 10 years and then began to work as a retail Community Pharmacist. She decided to start a nutrition practice because of her own personal experience with health issues that were resolved with Nutrition Response Testing® and Designed Clinical Nutrition. She attended training workshops at The Ulan Nutrition Center to be certified as a Nutrition Response practitioner.

She became a pharmacist because she cares about people and their health. Over the years, she noticed that many of the drugs prescribed for the treatment of many chronic diseases only suppress symptoms and prevent further progression of the disease. Many of these drugs do not take care of the underlying cause of the disease. She was pleased to learn of a nutrition therapy system that seeks to find the underlying cause of malfunction in the body and provide nutritional support for the body as it heals itself. She was particularly impressed by the specificity of the nutritional remedies. Nwando is available for Nutritional Therapy on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at East West Healing Solutions.
