Kinesio taping was developed by Dr. Kase in 1973. It is a rehabilitative technique aiming at assisting the body to heal affecting several systems; circulatory, lymphatic, neural, muscular and fascia. It is also used to correct muscle tone, correct movement patterns, reduces muscle fatigue and swelling, limit joint hypermobility, improve posture, prevent injuries and extend the effects of manual therapy. All of those benefits result in faster healing time enabling the patient to return to their activity sooner and save money.

Many patients can benefit from kinesio taping; nonathletic population all the way to professional athletes.
